Ivan Šuletić (1982) is a visual artist, living and working in Belgrade, Serbia. He graduated from Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade (2007) and earned a Doctorate in Fine Arts from the Painting department at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade (2015). He had several solo exhibitions (selection: You Make Me Afraid of Myself, Cultural Center of Belgrade (2018), Rima gallery, Kragujevac, Serbia, 2017; Gebäude und Pflanzen, Die Galerie in Peterstrasse, Hamburg, Germany, 2016; Triumphal Arch, Empty Cube project at Appleton Square, Lisbon Portugal, 2013; Juraj Klovic gallery (with C.Vicevic), Rijeka Croatia 2011; (...)) and exhibited in many group exhibitions and curatorial projects ( D.B.Mangelos Award Finals, Belgrade, 2014, 2015, 2017; Monuments and Ideas, Belgrade 2016; Contemporaneity and Crisis, Belgrade, Novi Sad, 2015, 2016; Constellation, Paris, 2015; Zyklus 9.0 and 10.0, Stift Lilienfeld, 2014, 2015; – Belgrade Now, Montafon, 2014; (...) ) Šuletić is the winner of the Vladimir Veličković Foundation Award for Contemporary Drawing (2018), Award “Likovna Jesen” for Painting (2016), and the Second Prize for Painting by Niš Art Foundation (2015). Employed at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade as an assistant professor.
