Tânia Geiroto Marcelino
Artista e Curadora
Lisboa, Portugal
Tânia Geiroto Marcelino (b. 1989, Lisboa) works in her own language of post-minimal intervention possibilities. Through sculptures, paintings, drawings and installations, and based on a posture of voluntary contamination by reality, she explores her own relationship with the objects that surround her. She holds a degree in Painting from FBAUL (2013, Lisboa, PT) and a Master in Contemporary Art Practices from FBAUP (2017, Porto, PT). As visual artist, she has been showing her work regularly since 2012, in solo and group exhibitions, projects and artistic residencies. Through the years, she has also been developing other practices within contemporary art, such as project managing, production and curatorship.
