Destacam-se as suas participações no Satellite Art Show em Brooklyn (EUA), na 18º Bienal de Media Arte WRO em Wroclaw (Polónia) e no festival CosmiX III Incantation em Paris (FR). As exposições colectivas Depois do Estouro na Galeria Municipal do Porto (2019), Aspekt! Aspekt! no WRO Art Center (2019, Polónia), The New Art Fest na Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes (2018), FUSO (2018), Prémio Sonae Media Art no MNAC (2017) e as exposições individuais Entre as Pedras há Verde na Ocupart (Lisboa, 2019), Mamografias por Satélite (Lisboa, 2019) e Como Depositar Imagens no Banco na Appleton [Box] (Lisboa, 2019). Em 2017 foi vencedor do Prémio Sonae Media Art e em 2018 dos Prémio Novos na categoria de Artes Visuais. Em 2019 foi bolseiro à internacionalização pela Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian e recebeu uma distinção de mérito Jovem Revelação pelo Município de Silves. | EN | Rodrigo Gomes is a media artist born in Faro, Portugal in 1991. He lives and works in Lisbon. He has made collective and individual exhibitions, such as Satellite Art Show NYC (USA), 18th Media Art Biennale WRO in Wroclaw (PL), CosmiX III Incantation in Paris (FR), After the Bang in Galeria Municipal do Porto (PT), Aspekt! Aspekt! at the WRO Art Center (PL), Among the stones there’s green in Ocupart (2019, PT), Mammographies through Satellite in The Room (PT), How to deposit images on a bank Appleton Box (PT), The New Art Fest in Nacional Society of Fine Arts (PT), FUSO festival in MAAT (PT), Sonae Media Art Award at the National Museum of Contemporary Art (PT). In 2017 won the Sonae Media Art award and in 2018 the Prémios Novos. In 2019 received a grant for international artistic production from Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and a Merit Award – Young revelation from Silves city council.
