Bron in 1988, Porto, Portugal. After graduating from Leeds Collage in Design and Visual Communications [2010], Pimenta moved to New York where she worked on a series of different projects involving production, video, photography and collage. Her photography work is a combination of a social diary that can be followed on her blog LLUDUS and experimentation with both digital and physical col­lages that are accentuated by her distinctive interventions. After mainly working in video production, in 2014 she traveled the globe in hopes to capture a different side of the world and immerse herself in collage and photography. She is currently living in Lisbon, and has just completed a Post-Graduation course at Faculdade de Belas Artes de Lisboa, on the discourse of contemporary photography. Carolina is working on various projects, including her most recent collaboration with photographer Anastasia Fugger; [gone] Project: POLAND a long-term project, which captures a unique perspective of seemingly known grounds.
