Laura Vitorino Rebelo (Funchal, 1985), artist and farmer. Lives and works in Alcáçovas, Alentejo. Master in Artistic Practice in Visual Arts and Degree in Visual Arts from the University of Évora. This year, she was selected to be part of the 2019 edition of Portuguese Emerging Art. Laura exhibits regularly since 2014. Individual exhibitions include: Subtle Landscape (2019, Avenue House, Setubal, Portugal), Abstract Landscapes (2018, Culture House, Comporta, Portugal), OffarqLisboa (2018, Homeland Interiors, Lisbon, Portuga ), There are more seas than roses, with rare exceptions (2018, House of Culture, Floodgate, Portuga), Uninhabited Landscapes (2017, Casa da Luz Museum, Funchal, Portugal), Around me (2014, Homeland Interiors , Lisbon, Portugal). Participated in several group exhibitions including, Opposites Exposed (2017, Forum Eugénio de Almeida, Évora, Portugal), Rotterdam International Art Fair (2016, Laurensekerk, Rotterdam, Netherlands) and Périplos - Portuguese Art Today (2015, Center for Modern Art) from Malaga, Spain). Her work is included in the public and private collections, such as, Casa da Luz Museum (Portugal), Luciano Benetton Collection (Italy) and Malaga Contemporary Art Center (Spain).
