Pedro Tinôco (b. 1998, Porto) Graduated in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of University of Lisbon, having carried out the Erasmus program at the École Nationale Supérieure d'Art Paris – Cergy in 2021. In 2023, Pedro was awarded a Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation Scholarship for the master programme at LUCA school of Arts in Brussels where they are currently studying. Pedro is a visual artist whose work is profoundly embedded in the banality of everyday image articulated into painting and drawing. They are interested in the intertwined link between techno sensibility and effortless funky significance. Pedro exhibits since 2019, particularly in group shows like Auf Der Laub, studio Huette, Berlin, DE (2020); Jov’arte Bienal Jovem 2021, Galeria Vieira da Silva, Loures, PT (2021); A Colina, A gráfica – Centro de Criação Artística, Setúbal, PT (2021); À volta do X, Centro Hospitalar Julio de Matos, P31, Lisbon, PT (2022); Spike to spica, Galeria Monumental, Lisbon, PT (2023); POR-POL NET projec, PATIO, Gdansk, PL (2023); Encontros imediatos de 2º grau, Galeria avenida da Índia, Lisbon, PT and most recently in DRAMA no office, Gallery Komplot, Brussels, BE (2024). Has also exhibited in duos like FeuerKissen, Duplex Air, Lisbon, PT (2022) and Twilight Zone, Lx Lapa, Lisbon, PT (2022).
